Synopsis

Mei Qi, a spirited young girl from a lower-income neighbourhood in Singapore, begins her journey at a prestigious secondary school. Her hopes are quickly challenged when she’s singled out for financial aid, setting her apart from her privileged peers.

After a failed track tryout and mounting feelings of inadequacy, Mei Qi finds herself questioning where she belongs.
