Graduation is in seven days and tensions are high. The school administration is worried the students will turn convocation into a political spectacle while the students themselves can’t decide if they want a spectacle at all. Whispers travel, alliances are questioned, and doubts grow.
Amidst conspiracy, surveillance and choir rehearsals, this group of young artists, on track for success, must figure out what they want to do, if they can do anything at all. THE LINE, a new play by Myle Yan Tay, asks what it means to be an artist and a student in a society that is a little scared of both.
This performance is presented by the Diploma in Performance programme in collaboration with the Diploma in Theatre Production and Management programme.
